David grew up loving football and baleadas, Honduras' beloved national dish. He left his home country to pursue a master's degree and later a PhD in Physics in Italy.

Living abroad taught him to appreciate the warmth of Honduran culture in a new way. But even more, it showed him that while cultures and countries change, Jesus remains the same wherever he goes.
